GAİN, founded with 100% domestic investments and in operation since December 2020, has been acquired by RAMS Türkiye Group.

The platform’s founder, Gözde Akpınar, shared the development by stating, “As of today, we have reached an agreement with RAMS Türkiye for the acquisition of all shares of GAİN. From day one, our dream for GAİN, the digital platform established with 100% domestic investments in Türkiye, has been to create a brand that opens up from our country to the global stage. In an industry with global giants as competitors, we have established a strong bond with our team and business partners who believed in us by doing different things together and understanding our viewers better. I hope this sale will be beneficial for our country, and I wish for this bond to continue to develop. ” Akpınar also stated that she would continue to chair the board of directors until June 1st, adding, “I would like to share the information that we will continue on this journey with our colleagues who have made a significant contribution to GAİN’s progress.”

This transaction, in which RAMS Türkiye acquired all of GAİN’s shares, marks the first step of RAMS Global in the media sector. Faruk Bülbül, CEO of RAMS Global, expressed his future goals by saying, “The rapid growth of streaming platforms both globally and in Türkiye is opening up potential areas for investors. With our investment in GAİN, we believe that we will become one of the players making a name for themselves in this field. As RAMS Global, we plan to use our resources in countries where we are already operating, such as Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Germany, Russia, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, to engage in joint productions with these countries.
