RAMS, which has made a rapid entry into the Turkish real estate market, has announced that it has invested over 2 billion dollars in 2 years.

The company, founded 35 years ago and headquartered in Kazakhstan, has completed 87 projects and thousands of homes in Kazakhstan. They have now increased their investments in Türkiye. Devran Bülbül, Chairman of the Board of Directors of RAMS Global, discussed the company’s ongoing investments and future plans.

5 HOUSING PROJECTS

Bülbül stated that their first investments in Istanbul were in Ümraniye and that they completed the unfinished urban transformation project, delivering homes to residents who had been waiting for 8 years in just 8 months. He shared information about their ongoing projects as follows: “We are nearing completion at RAMS Garden Bahçelievler, which had a groundbreaking ceremony in September 2022. We will complete this project 9 months ahead of schedule. RAMS City Haliç, which had its launch in March and consists of 2 phases, has sold 87% of its units. In Maslak, we took over a building owned by Hattat Holding, which had been waiting for 22 years. This project, to be completed in December 2024, will include world-famous stores and restaurants. Finally, we have started the first phase of a project in Bayramoğlu consisting of 8 phases and 4,400 units. In total, we have invested in over 2 million square meters of construction area and more than 2 billion dollars in the past 2 years.”

Emphasizing their confidence in the real estate sector and Türkiye, Devran Bülbül said, “We will start three new projects, two in Istanbul Ayazağa and Davutpaşa, and one in Bodrum. We also have plans for an IPO.”

CONCERNS ABOUT HOME DELIVERY HAVE STARTED

– Devran Bülbül mentioned that in recent times, homebuyers have been concerned about whether their homes will be completed on time or not. He said, “There are companies that do a 100-dollar job with 1 dollar of capital, and their numbers are not small. They say they will sell from the model and build with the money they receive. But when sales are slow in a contracting market, they cannot proceed with construction. This is why consumers are apprehensive when making purchases.”

SPONSORSHIP FOR ICARDI AS WELL

– GALATASARAY Club had signed a stadium name sponsorship deal with Rams Global. Devran Bülbül mentioned that in addition to the stadium name sponsorship, they also had another agreement. He said, “We played an important role in Icardi’s arrival at the club. In addition to the stadium sponsorship, a separate agreement was made.”
